A new generation of innovative nuclear reactor technology is being piloted in some countries. This features low installation and electricity production costs, a much-reduced waste problem, simplified yet reliable fuel cycle. It designed for long-term energy production—at least 60 years—while utilizing domestic resources to significantly reduce including those related raw material manufacturing. The thorium cycle molten salt at the heart this advancement, offering promising solution sustainable energy. In MSRs (Molten Salt Reactors), giant pressure vessel, bundles heart, complex piping systems pumps that are conventional reactors same power either completely absent or have been reduced much more. For example, main body 1500 MWe MSR size 2 truck containers occupies relatively little space. There no accidental hydrogen release explosion due their design. Since design minimizes risk, likelihood uncontrolled radioactive isotopes into atmosphere, water soil. case problem during operation, there need human intervention stop system. fuels 600 °C - 700 °C; hearth where they located not very high pressure, but normal solid rods environment, so risk could be refined reflect risks minimized (not eliminated). unlikely event overheating, liquid flows from discharge pipe bottom tank, reaction stops these processes occur without intervention. do require regular operation either. Because system operate continuously safely on its own. less volume storage life only 300 years, 10s thousands which makes it easier respect. study, advantages, disadvantages, effects new-generation source—thorium-fueled reactors—were examined, with explanations provided contributions modeling.
