Collapse Fragility Analysis of RC Frame Structures Considering Capacity Uncertainty DOI Creative Commons

To analyze the impact of capacity uncertainty on seismic collapse fragility reinforced concrete (RC) frame structures, a analysis framework based reliability methods is proposed. First, incremental dynamic (IDA) curves are plotted by IDA under group natural waves. Subsequently, points identified recommendations from relevant standards, yielding probability distribution maximum inter-story drift ratios (MIDRs) at points. Then, MIDRs various intensity measures (IMs) artificial waves calculated using fractional exponential moments-based entropy method (FEM-MEM). Next, structural failure determined combined performance index (CPI), and curve four-parameter shifted generalized lognormal (SGLD) model. The results indicate that lower considering uncertainty. Compared to deterministic MIDR limits 1/25 1/50, median values structure’s resistance increased 13.2% 87.3%, respectively. Additionally, obtained than alone. These findings highlight importance in risk assessments RC structures.
