A Gemini cationic surfactant was synthesized through an aldehyde-amine condensation reaction to address challenges related bacterial corrosion and foaming during shale gas extraction. This treatment agent exhibits sterilization, mitigation, properties. The mechanism of action characterized tests measuring surface tension, particle size, sterilization efficacy, mitigation efficiency, behavior. Results from the tension test indicate that at 60 °C, surfactants with a low carbon chain structure achieve lowest 32.61 mN/m critical micelle concentration. This study delves into the comparative efficacy of YOLOv5 and YOLOv8 in corrosion segmentation tasks. We employed three unique datasets, comprising 4942, 5501, 6136 images, aiming to thoroughly evaluate models' adaptability robustness diverse scenarios. The assessment metrics included precision, recall, F1-score, mean average precision. Furthermore, graphical tests offered a visual perspective on capabilities each architecture. Our results highlight YOLOv8's superior speed accuracy across further corroborated by evaluations. These assessments were instrumental emphasizing proficiency handling complex corroded surfaces. Pipelines are economical and efficient modes of transporting oil gas. will inevitably confront various risk factors through their lifespan, which could lead to defects. Defects in pipelines can compromise the integrity pipeline systems may result catastrophic accidents. Thus, it is vital conduct assessment so that safe operation be ensured. Up present, widely used approaches for include defect characterization, growth rate prediction, failure pressure evaluation. Although theoretical developments methods have yielded fruitful achievements significantly benefit industry practices, there still a lack systematic review covering whole process from data collection model establishment assessment. Therefore, comprehensive conducted this paper on modeling perspective. Firstly, description required construct models presented, where obtained inspection measurements, monitoring sensors, testing experiments, etc. Then, different techniques applied reviewed, classified into physics-based models, data-driven multi-model fusion.
