ABSTRACT Seismic wave isolation through layered meta‐foundations is an emerging area of research, driven by its intrinsic theoretical significance and potential practical applications. To date, the complexities associated with imperfect interfaces have often been overlooked in development analytical frameworks, which tend to prioritize simple yet effective closed‐form dispersion laws. This work provides a further step toward study under real‐world conditions incorporating effects interfaces. Our developed framework demonstrates that accounting for interface markedly enhances ultra‐low‐frequency attenuation meta‐foundations, as revealed complex analysis verified transmission finite‐sized meta‐foundations. enhancement achieved modifying stiffness mass interfaces, affects both location width frequency zones (AZs) improves within these domains. Helmholtz resonators (HRs) have the advantage of extending and improving their insulating capacity when used as scatterers in noise barriers made periodic media, such sonic crystals (SCs). However, interaction between multiple Bragg scattering local resonance phenomena can increase or decrease insulation barrier depending on its design. In present work, we numerically investigate factors that determine how interferences occur specific conditions to insertion loss crystal (SCNBs) cylindrical with HRs. Two are crucial for variation isolation Bragg-bandgap (Bragg-BG): orientation resonator mouth respect incident wave, frequency central Bragg-BG.
