Empirical evidence on renewable energy (RE) deployment remains controversial, and little consensus exists how empirical determinants can shape a country's transition to low-carbon economy. Using sample of 38 countries from 2002 2020, we apply nonlinear panel data modeling, where the process be properly treated. Our results indicate prominent role geopolitical risk in influencing use RE, depending level gross domestic product (GDP) per capita. Richer have greater capacity develop clean technologies times uncertainty; however, with fewer resources bear costs, RE sector low-income appears more vulnerable adverse events.

Today’s energy challenges are multifaceted. Over the past 30–40 years, issues have been discussed and published on an extensive scale. The green transition involves concrete actions related to increasing efficiency, replacing fossil fuels with alternative fuels, producing using renewable resources, creating various means of transport that use electric motors, identifying technical solutions generate increased yield in case buildings, waste reduction, reuse recycling. In order attain a climate-neutral environment, it is mandatory impose regulations, measures help decarbonize sector. analysis articles these subject this large information-dense review. Concretely, climate neutrality will obvious advantages at economic, social technological level, for example, opportunity economic growth, new business models markets, generation jobs or development. At same time, paper underscores need multifaceted approach, integrating innovation, policy intervention global cooperation effective transformation. review suggests future research directions, focusing viable strategies its socio-economic environmental impacts.
