Abstract The ‘decade of action’ intended to accomplish the ambitious 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) faces notable challenges. Our investigation into impact COVID-19 crisis on SDG progress reveals important lessons for shaping effective policy interventions ensure resilient societies and overall well-being. Through systematic mapping a rapid review approach, our analysis that nearly 90% SDGs, specifically 144 targets, were adversely affected by pandemic. Yet, there is glimmer opportunity: 66 targets stand gain from crisis-induced transformations, provided right choices are made. Achieving this goal demands comprehensive approach decisive leadership steer an inclusive economic recovery also safeguards environment while safeguarding environment. intricate interplay between ongoing planetary post-COVID-19 crises, environmental challenges, conflicts underscores need proactive, deliberate well-informed marked collaborative decision-making, which imperative effectively steering toward achieving SDGs. These complex challenges demand collective, action, all with overarching aim securing just sustainable future all.

The goal of this research was to investigate the effects torrefying temperature (220, 260, and 300 °C) on physicochemical properties, kinetics, thermodynamic parameters, reaction processes Acer palmatum (AP) during pyrolysis process. kinetics raw materials torrefied biomass were studied by using three kinetic models, main function graph approach employed find mechanism. produced at temperatures 220 °C (AP-220), 260 (AP-260), (AP-300) thermogravimetrically analyzed four different heating rates (5, 10, 15, 20 °C/min). In comparison material, average activation energy declined with increasing temperature, from 174.13 84.67 kJ/mol (FWO), 172.52 81.24 (KAS DAEM). volatile contents AP AP-220 are higher than those AP-260 AP-300, indicating that random nucleation model occupies central position. Compared biomass, Gibbs free (ΔG) increased 157.97 195.38 kJ/mol. mean enthalpy change (ΔH) torrefaction process is positive, while entropy (ΔS) negative, decreasing 16.93 −151.53 (FWO) 14.36 −156.06 Overall, findings provide a comprehensive understanding improved features as high-quality solid fuel.

Avascular necrosis (AVN) is a debilitating condition characterized by bone tissue death due to inadequate blood supply, leading joint dysfunction and collapse. This study investigates the potential association between AVN COVID-19, focusing on genetic factors such as NOS3 polymorphisms. A total of 180 individuals were included, comprising 120 COVID-19 patients 60 healthy controls. Clinical, haematological, biochemical, parameters assessed. Results revealed significant differences in respiratory heart rates, haematological counts, biochemical markers control groups. Genetic analysis showed higher prevalence TG genotype G allele rs1799983 polymorphism among patients. Additionally, rs2070744 correlated with various clinical parameters, including pressure, rate, indices. highlights role predisposing following infection.

The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the intricate relationships between human health and social-ecological system in an era of climate global change. Widespread adversely affected farmers' employment, production practices, livelihood resilience. At same time, change is a key issue limiting agricultural worldwide. Emissions greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, are major factor leading to Greenhouse gas emissions from receiving increasing attention. Therefore, it particularly important develop low-carbon agriculture. Based on data 920 family farms Jiangsu province Shaanxi province, this study constructs structural equation model empirically tests relationship variables using bootstrap method. results show that: (1) awareness did not directly stimulate willingness pursue production; (2) has impact through perceived ease use consequence awareness; (3) anti-risk ability can effectively moderate behavior theoretical framework proposed provides reference for research field agriculture also some insights suggestions environmentalists governments. In addition, policymakers should raise sense responsibility farmers address promote achieve healthy sustainable development.

Growing socio-economic disparity is a global issue that could disturb community health. Numerous case studies have examined the health influences of income disparities as well patterns implicate those disparities. Therefore, this study attempts to examine core determinants mortality rate, which are environmental degradation, green energy, expenditures, and technology (ICT) for 25 provinces China over period 2005–2020. This uses series estimators investigate preferred objectives in CS-ARDL common correlated effect mean group (CCE-MG). Estimated results show significant contribution deterioration inequality rate. Furthermore, ICT, energy significantly reduce Similarly, moderate on expenditure, ICT reduces rate selected China. More interestingly, current suggests policy implications rising trend
