Increased anthropogenic pressures have led to environmental impacts and also intensified competition for space resources among various socioeconomic sectors. The coastal zone environment is facing challenges such as marine pollution, biodiversity loss, and the decline in ecological functions. To address these complex interlinked environmental problems, it particularly important to build an effective collaborative governance network for environment. aim of this study explore functioning environment, analyze interactive relationships among different stakeholders, examine structure functions network. First, thesis reviews relevant literature on governance, elaborates theories constructs theoretical research framework. Despite widespread efforts to improve economic conditions, the critical interconnections between sustainability and resilience, particularly in vulnerable rural communities, remain understudied. Existing frameworks often overlook com- plex interplay these two dimensions, hindering effective policymaking. This research addresses this gap by examining relationship resilience within context of Indian communities. Employing a three-phase methodology combining literature review, collective case study four villages utilizing participatory appraisal (PRA) technique, in-depth qualitative interviews, delves into lived experiences community members. The findings reveal dynamic context-specific nature sustainability-resilience nexus, emphasizing need for tailored policy interventions.
