Phthalates (PAEs) are a group of endocrine-disrupting environmental chemicals (EEDs) that pose significant risks to human health. PAEs widespread in various media, including air, dust, water, and soil, subject both horizontal vertical migration. Human activities significantly influence the distribution PAEs, yet current research on this relationship remains limited. In study, we first describe hot issues environment through bibliometrics, then review published related studies. We outline global different media conducted comparative analysis their composition. Principal component (PCA) revealed differences mediums geographic locations. Correlation between composition China further demonstrated PAE concentrations were closely linked agricultural industrial activities. also discussed biodegradation abiotic degradation finding bacteria play crucial role soil. This study aims assess distribution, transfer, impact, providing insights for prevention remediation pollution.
