In this paper, we propose to analyse the air quality in urban environment, respectively city of Constanta. The sources pollution are multiple, both for outside and inside: solid liquid particles, gas emissions from vehicle exhaust, industrial sources, cleaning products. All these constitute a real danger human health, some being even toxic. 4 locations were chosen measurements concentrations PM2.5, PM10 particles measured, after which risk level was established period April-May 2024, comparing data with those provided by National Environmental Protection Agency. analysed results show that parameters PM2.5 have moderate impact on while premises they within accessible limits.

ABSTRACT Indoor environmental comfort is fundamental to human health as people spend 90% of their time indoors. This aspect even more crucial in hospitals, where the concept closely linked well‐being, ethics and aspects. Emerging methodologies technologies such digital twin, building information modelling, internet things, sensing data analytics offer new opportunities ensure healthier environments efficient management. paper provides an assessment how digitalisation can support decision‐making processes related maintaining high levels indoor hospital settings, particularly by analysing real‐time processing application machine learning promote proactive interventions these facilities. The methodological approach was based on four phases: defining objectives identifying input build feed model, KPIs evaluate system's correct functioning enabling be integrated into system achieve set goal. result a twin for managing operating room its services, with aim guiding decisions accurate improving operational efficiency, comfort, safety regarding diffusion medical gases.

Consumption of unhealthy diet, a nutritionally depleted calorie dense diet is one the major factors in aetiology lifestyle diseases coupled with other like sedentary and stress. All these are modifiable adversely impact both physical mental health. In 2020, Indian food regulatory organisation passed regulation assuring school children provided that meets standards safety balanced diet. The provides foods high trans/saturated fat added sodium sugar do not form part children. To understand compliance this regulation, information through Right to Information Act, 2005, from 49 public-run schools district India's capital New Delhi was collected reported. implementation status has been dismal 24% being, for example, maximum single factor related 'Eat Campus' campaign similar or lower levels advertisement foods. creation laws regarding must be followed by thorough stricter enforcement well-being preventing early onset diseases.

Air filters are crucial components of building ventilation systems. Compared to conventional air filter media like glass fibers and melt-blown fibers, electrospinning membranes more efficient for capturing various pollutants due the smaller pores present on structure. In this paper, activated carbon were prepared with eco-friendly polylactic acid (PLA) microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) using obtain a high-quality factor (QF) fibrous mat aerosol particle matter (PM) filtration volatile organic compounds (VOCs) adsorption. Several configurations final investigated tested fiber morphology performance. Filtering efficiency adsorption properties evaluated in real-scale room by measuring penetration newly synthesized commercial against neutralized particles (3% NaCl aqueous solution) VOCs (methyl ethyl ketone). The calculated depolluting efficiencies up 98% terms PM 55% abatement, respectively. Our results indicate that proposed hybrid represent promising materials highly sustainable home application
