ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters are integral membrane proteins involved in the active transport of various substrates, including heavy metals, across cellular membrane. In this study, we performed a genome-wide analysis and explored expression profiles ABC transporter genes Solanum lycopersicum to identify their role cadmium (Cd) stress tolerance. Several techniques were employed determine regulatory transporters. A total 154 identified genome S. lycopersicum, located on all 12 chromosomes. Comparative phylogenetic between Arabidopsis thaliana revealed several orthologous gene pairs, which duly supported by structural studying exon-intron pattern motif analysis. Collinearity multiple duplication events owing intra-chromosomal inter-chromosomal mutations. The cis-regulatory hormone-responsive elements suggesting that ABCs actively transporting hormones like ABA, SA, MeJA, auxin, gibberellin. These known combat number conditions, hence validating Cd stress. Under stress, profiling demonstrated SlABCs exhibit significant transcriptional changes, indicating involvement transport, sequestration, detoxification mechanisms. Soil heavy metal contamination and its enrichment in the edible parts of crops have gained global concern. In this study, a compound bacterial agent possessing ability to produce plant hormone, abscisic acid (ABA), was applied contaminated farmland Hunan province. Its application reduced concentration Cd radish, cabbage, mustard, lettuce by 15-144%. Accordingly, contents these vegetables were found be below maximum limits set GB 2762-2017. Meanwhile, bacteria agents also led significant increase yield 45-82%. Furthermore, nutritional indices, including soluble sugar protein increased 18-66%, as well antioxidant total phenolic, ascorbate content, DPPH capacity, enhanced 12-76%, 10-49% 50-140%, respectively. conclusion, use ABA-producing is anticipated novel approach for safe soil with moderate low pollution.

Heavy metal contamination in soils poses a significant environmental threat to human health. This study examines the effects of chiral herbicide napropamide (NAP) on Arabidopsis thaliana, focusing growth metrics and cadmium (Cd) accumulation. R-NAP does not adversely affect plant compared control, whereas S-NAP significantly reduces root length fresh weight. Notably, markedly increases Cd accumulation shoots, exceeding levels observed control S-NAP. increase coincides with reduced photosynthetic efficiency. Noninvasive electrode techniques reveal higher net absorption flux mature zone under than S-NAP, although similar control. Transcriptomic analysis highlights stereoisomer differences transporters, predominantly treatment. SEM molecular docking simulations support that primarily upregulates transporters such as HMA4. The results suggest careful management herbicides like contaminated fields avoid excessive heavy buildup crops.
