Abstract The widespread use of tetracycline has made the efficient and environmentally friendly treatment tetracycline‐contaminated wastewater a pressing issue in environmental management. This study synthesized high‐purity uniformly mixed Cu 0 /CuFeO 2 composite materials using one‐step hydrothermal method, aiming to enhance catalytic activation peroxymonosulfate (PMS) through synergistic effect zero‐valent metal bimetallic compounds. demonstrated exceptional PMS performance, achieving 84% hydrochloride (TCH) degradation within 1 min 91% 20 min. process involved action •OH, SO 4 •− , O electron transfer. intermediates TCH were identified high‐performance liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (HPLC‐MS), four potential pathways proposed. Furthermore, exhibited robust performance across wide pH range maintained high efficiency complex aqueous environments.
