Abstract The widespread use of tetracycline has made the efficient and environmentally friendly treatment tetracycline‐contaminated wastewater a pressing issue in environmental management. This study synthesized high‐purity uniformly mixed Cu 0 /CuFeO 2 composite materials using one‐step hydrothermal method, aiming to enhance catalytic activation peroxymonosulfate (PMS) through synergistic effect zero‐valent metal bimetallic compounds. demonstrated exceptional PMS performance, achieving 84% hydrochloride (TCH) degradation within 1 min 91% 20 min. process involved action •OH, SO 4 •− , O electron transfer. intermediates TCH were identified high‐performance liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (HPLC‐MS), four potential pathways proposed. Furthermore, exhibited robust performance across wide pH range maintained high efficiency complex aqueous environments. Even after five cycles, retained 78% its efficiency, demonstrating excellent stability reproducibility /PMS system. Practitioner Points A was synthesized. Robust activity observed for catalyst.
