This study aimed to evaluate the spectroscopic properties and factors affecting adsorption of phenanthrene by humic acid molecules based on humeomics. The results showed that two water-soluble fractions can be obtained from acids humeomics: weakly bound ester strongly fractions. Both could bind produce quenching, quenched group was located around 450 nm. Adsorption with better when were 12 mg/L. binding capacity much higher than A combination protein-like acid-like content determined ability each fraction phenanthrene. These revealed small adsorbed provided a new treatment for contamination.

Introduction Soil organic matter plays an important role in the long-term “locking” of contaminants soil environment. Recently, microbial-derived have been recognized as essential components stabilized carbon pools. However, contribution to sorption remains unclear. Methods Here, we obtained matter-mineral composites by inoculating model (a mixture hematite and quartz sand (FQ) or montmorillonite (MQ)) with natural microorganisms different substrate-carbon (glycine (G), glucose (P), 2, 6-Dimethoxyphenol (B)), which were named GF, PF, BF, GM, BM, PM, respectively. Batch sorption/desorption experiments conducted for phenanthrene (PHE) ofloxacin (OFL) on composites. Results Discussion The cultured 2,6-dimethoxyphenol had highest content (0.98% FQ 2.11% MQ) three substrates. incubated MQ (0.64%–2.11%) was higher than that (0.24%–0.98%), indicating facilitated accumulation owing its large specific surface area. PHE mainly dominated hydrophobic partitioning π-π conjugation, whereas OFL hydrogen bonding conjugation. onto more stable PHE. Microbial-derived -mineral can reduce risk contaminant migration soil, particularly ionic contaminants.
