Abstract Concern over the harmful impacts of pollutants on human health and environment has increased in recent decades due to their widespread presence water resources. These include pesticides, poisonous textile dyes, micropollutants. It is essential remove these from wastewater enhance quality for industrial usage. Because externally hydrophilic internally hydrophobic qualities, cyclodextrin its derivatives have shown great promise as adsorbents treatment wastewater. While cyclodextrins cannot be used own solubility, they can efficiently polymerized with different types cross‐linkers increase stability effectiveness. This review article examines chemically crosslinked materials based derivatives, utilizing various such epichlorohydrin, glutaraldehyde, citric acid, N,N′‐methylene bisacrylamide maleic anhydride. are evaluated effectiveness adsorbing micropollutants, pharmaceuticals, pesticides Additionally, this provides a detailed explanation adsorption kinetics, thermodynamics, kinetic isotherms removal contaminants. also discusses mechanism contaminant adsorption, reusability adsorbents. Finally, study delves into challenges exciting future prospects CD‐based adsorbents, highlighting potential revolutionize treatment.

Geothermal energy, derived from the radioactive decay of elements within Earth's core, is a renewable and clean energy source. The extraction geothermal primarily depends on ground heat exchangers. To address issue incompatibility between corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, mechanical performance in current exchangers, this study develops composites (PEPOE/SCA@SiC) composed high‐density polyethylene (HDPE) modified with toughener polyethylene‐octene copolymer elastomer (POE) silicon carbide (SiC) crystals γ‐aminopropyltriethoxysilane (SCA). HDPE offers excellent SiC provide efficient phonon transport, SCA improves interface compatibility composite. conductivity PEPOE/SCA@SiC reaches 3.83 W m − 1 K , maximum tensile strength 20.3 MPa, elastic modulus up to 498 bending stress 22.2 MPa 561 MPa. Corrosion resistance tests indicate no signs when exposed simulation fluids at 90 °C for 30 days. This demonstrates that have substantial potential application offering promising prospects advancing sustainable use environmental protection.
