Earthworm gut digestion plays a crucial role in reducing antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) during vermicomposting, offering significant potential for controlling ARG dissemination livestock manure. However, the impact of residual tetracycline antibiotics on this process remains poorly understood. Herein, study systematically evaluated three concentrations (0, 10, and 100 mg/kg) dynamics microbial community evolution 35-day vermicomposting cattle The results demonstrated that earthworm intestinal effectively eliminated over 96% initial load raw Noticeably, stress significantly enhanced total abundance casts (p < 0.05), with distinct response patterns observed among different types. Mechanistic analysis revealed potentially persistence through two pathways: (1) promoting horizontal transfer via mobile genetic elements, (2) altering succession influence host–microbe relationships. These discoveries contribute to our comprehension interference vermi-remediation processes provide insights optimizing mitigation strategies contaminated
