Cylindrospermopsin (CYN) and microcystins (MC) are cyanotoxins that can occur simultaneously in contaminated water food. CYN/MC-LR mixtures previously investigated vitro showed an induction of micronucleus (MN) formation only the presence metabolic fraction S9.
