Abstract
Electrochemical
sensors
and
biosensors
are
today
important
analytical
monitoring
tools
in
various
fields,
from
agriculture
the
food
industry
to
environmental
biomedical/pharmaceutical
applications.
In
particular,
integration
of
nanotechnology
with
electrochemical
develop
a
new
generation
sensor
platforms
has
made
enormous
progress
recent
years.
The
outstanding
properties
one‐dimensional
(1D)
nanofibers
(NFs),
such
as
high
porosity,
superior
mechanical
specific
surface
area
have
them
attractive
electrocatalysts,
support
materials
for
immobilization
biomolecules
well
mimetic
sensing
biosensing
Moreover,
possibility
fabricating
multifunctional
composites
based
on
NFs
increases
(bio)sensing
capabilities
through
synergistic
effects
additive
properties.
This
review
describes
over
last
decade
use
NFs‐based
modified
electrodes
analytes
biomedical,
food,
wastewater
treatment
aim
this
is
provide
comprehensive
overview
guide
researchers
different
disciplines

improve
their

Electrospun
nanofibers
have
shown
their
advantages
for
applications
in
a
wide
variety
of
scientific
fields
thanks
to
unique
properties.
Meanwhile,
electrospinning
is
closely
following
the
fast
development
nano
science
and
nanotechnology
move
forward
smaller
(pico-technology),
more
complicated
nanostructures/nanodevices
order
(all
kinds
arrays).
Particularly,
multiple-fluid
has
strong
capability
creating
nanostructures
from
structural
spinneret
single-step
straightforward
“top-down”
manner,
holding
great
promise
creation
on
large
scale.
This
review
just
conclude
state-of-art
studies
related
topics
also
point
out
that
future
directions
environmental
detection
require
chemosensors,
while
improvement
sensors
requires
new
chemically
synthesized
functional
substances,
nanostructured
materials,
application
convenience,
integration
or
synergy.
Based
developments
electrospinning,
possibilities
can
be
drawn
detecting
pollutants
with
electrospun
as
support
platform.
