Agro-industrial waste is an abundant bio-resource that can be used as a feedstock to develop carbon nanomaterials. This research identifies the specific microwave pyrolysis operating conditions generate activated biochar from sugarcane bagasse (SCB) biomass. The optimal obtain SCB was by using H2SO4 chemical treatment in mass ratio 1:1 followed microwave-assisted at 1.5 kW for 1 hour. resulting material attained 278 m2/g BET surface area and relatively pure structure with minor concentration of oxygen silicon. electrochemical sensor drop-casting method. SCB-activated achieved significant electrocatalytic properties detect paracetamol, showing 71% less charge transfer resistance EIS 96% higher than bare electrode based on CV curves. linear range paracetamol current responses demonstrated considerable sensitivity 2.5 µM limit detection. modified GCE indicates promising performance detection real sample.
