This study conducts a complex analysis to evaluate urban air pollution and climate dynamics impacts on COVID-19 viral infection incidence mortality in Bucharest metropolitan city Romania. It is motivated by the pandemic occurrence environmental/health challenges caused increasing urbanization Bucharest. paper presents temporal patterns characteristics of main pollutants PM2.5 PM10 (inhalable particulate matter with aerodynamic size less than or equal 2.5 µm 10 µm, respectively) as well nitrogen dioxide-NO2, ozone-O3, sulfur dioxide-SO2, carbon monoxide-CO during period March 2020–March 2022 through integration time-series surface observation satellite data. Through employing descriptive statistics regression models for multiple datasets climate-related parameters such temperature at 2m height (T), relative humidity (RH), wind speed intensity (w), direction, Planetary Boundary Layer height-PBL, solar irradiance-SI, this found that seasonal variation aerosol loading (PM2.5 PM10) over investigated have direct impact spreading. Nevertheless, additional environmental epidemiological investigations are required test causality seasonality its severity.
