Aquaculture,
a
rapidly
expanding
food
production
system,
holds
promise
for
improving
global
security
and
resilience.
However,
imbalanced
growth
has
led
to
highly
uneven
distribution
of
aquaculture
among
countries,
concern
that
not

comprehensively
examined.

this
knowledge
gap
by
developing
an
innovative
indicator
system
assess
issue
based
on
development
in

200
countries
over
five
decades.

Emerging
micropollutants
(EMPs)—which
include
