Lead (Pb) is a toxic heavy metal and its long-term accumulation in human bodies can lead to serious diseases. Investigation on Pb exposure provides an effective intervention opportunity reduce the blood levels (BLLs) of populations. Although phase-out gasoline has been conducted many developing countries (e.g., China), BLLs these populations are still higher than alert BLL (5.0 μg/dL) set by World Health Organization (WHO) Centers for Disease Control Prevention USA (CDC). Here, we reviewed different summarized sources intake pathways which were associated with dietary non-dietary intake. Extensive progress made studies soil biogeochemistry plant biological processes, including effects pH, redox potential, Fe/Mn oxides, organic matter availability Pb, as well mechanisms regulating absorption root transport from shoot. The oral-nasal respiration skin infiltration have specifically identified main causes increased exposed sources. In countries, complex intakes increase BLLs, making strategies difficult. This review systematic understanding processes environment helps guide safe enhance health.

Abstract The oxidation of biochar occurs due to both natural and human influences during the soil carbon sequestration process. Therefore, it is crucial produce high-stability achieve neutrality. Fly ash-doped was obtained from fly ash corn stalks by employing hydrothermal/pyrolysis treatment, along with alkali impregnation at different temperatures. microstructural characteristics potentials were studied as an essential performance parameter that influenced mineral doping treatment temperature. yield retention P500-1:2 improved 54.15% 6.81%, respectively, loss following H 2 O only 9.93% depicted results. In comparison hydrothermal biochar, pyrolysis superior in terms its potential. SiO , Al 3 other components continue dissolve high temperatures react promoting formation aromatic generating a physical protective layer prevent oxidation, hence improving chemical thermal stability biochar. High temperature interaction also contribute structure (H:C < 0.4) formation, significantly specific surface area Graphical

Straw biochar (BC) and four innovative environmental materials (AFFA/BC) were synthesized via oxygen-limited pyrolysis at different ratios applied for the remediation of lead (Pb)-contaminated soils. Accelerated aging, which mimics effects natural aging on heavy metal fixation properties, was induced through alternating dry wet conditions. Two models, are based conditional probability-induced failures, developed to characterize process more effectively. The results indicated that novel material presented elevated Si, Al, Na contents, increased specific surface area, pore volume, yield, formation chemical bonds such as T-O-T T-O (T = Si or Al). Simultaneously, synchronous asynchronous spectral analysis methods used demonstrate fly ash leads new protects functional groups from destructive high temperatures. Compared with original biochar, application Pb-contaminated soil pH, cation exchange capacity (CEC), organic matter (SOM) content while reducing toxic Pb leaching, resulting in conversion a stable residual state. Throughout wet–and–dry cycles, leaching concentration gradually increased, AFFA/BC-2 lower rate. This study provides method preparing low-cost green amendments, have great potential repairing HM-contaminated achieving value-added utilization coal-based solid waste agricultural waste.
