Drawing from A-share listed companies’ data the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets in China (2013–2022), this paper adopts differential model to test impact mechanism of a green supply chain (GSC) pilot on enterprises. The results show that GSC effectively improved carbon performance enterprises passed series robustness tests. Mechanism analysis finds innovation, efficiency improvement, environmental information disclosure (EID) can reduce emissions moderating effect discovers regulation attention strengthened role improving performance. In addition, had better reduction mature, technology-intensive, non-state-owned above research conclusions provide strong support for government build promote low-carbon development.

Fully harnessing the digital economy to encourage clean transition of household cooking fuel is essential for improving environmental conditions and enhancing human health. To this end, we developed a theoretical framework examine how influences choices empirically investigated these relationships using panel data from China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) spanning 2014–2020. The results show that accelerates transition, particularly in adoption electricity. These conclusions remain consistent after addressing endogeneity conducting robustness tests. Furthermore, promotional effect exhibits certain heterogeneities, notably more prominent among female heads, as well urban northern regions. Mechanism analysis reveals promoting force primarily driven by increased income, expanded social networks, heightened awareness. findings offer empirical backing utilizing facilitate guide policymakers designing targeted interventions consider regional diversity.

China’s rapid urbanization has spurred significant economic growth, but it also given rise to challenges such as urban sprawl, ecological degradation, and inefficient land use—issues that impede progress toward green sustainable development. Land is the spatial foundation for development, promoting its utilization essential advancing high-quality development of spaces. As a concrete implementation innovation-driven strategy, National Innovative City Pilot Policy (NICPP) serves crucial driver in fostering In this context, NICPP use can be seen two complementary components achieving This study uses panel data from 266 cities across China applies difference-in-differences (DID) model evaluate effect on efficiency (ULGUE), exploring underlying mechanisms through lenses industrial structure technological innovation. The results indicate significantly robustly enhances ULGUE. varies geographically by city type, with most pronounced benefits observed eastern cities, non-resource-based non-old base cities. Additionally, contributes improved comprehensive output during activities reduced pollutant emissions optimizing structures enhancing innovation capacity, thereby Therefore, future, focus should integrating strategic policies. These findings carry profound implications provide important lessons growth global scale.

ABSTRACT The green park serves as a significant spatial carrier for China's strategy to become manufacturing powerhouse and promote industrial transformation upgrading. It is crucial platform implementing driving the development of manufacturing, promoting harmonious coexistence between man nature in current era. main focus this study total 249 parks announced by Ministry Industry Information Technology, it employs multi‐time point PSM‐DID method investigate 280 prefecture‐level cities. results show that: (1) coefficient certification policy estimated have significantly negative impact at 1% significance level. (2) facilitates integration pollution reduction carbon efforts leveraging technology innovation government support. (3) effect has regional consistency resource heterogeneity.
