Abstract Intense use of coastal resources and construction new marinas to expand the tourist industry might result in developing water marine environmental quality due pollution, noise, species disturbance, harming aquatic ecosystems fisheries. By considering roles played by fisheries output, development, energy input, economic growth, governance, population density during 1990–2022, this research aims explore dynamic influence tourism development on sustainability sector 27 European nations. The findings study, which used Method Moments Quantile Regression (MMQR) with fixed variables, revealed a considerable adverse impact consumption growth across EU27 area. In particular, show that all quantiles, is more substantial EU13 nations than EU14 developed countries. At same time, had significant negative countries at most recent quantiles. relationship between governance (across quantiles) was also favorably significant. Notably, have beneficial medium it discovered increased sustainability. Results has To safeguard achieve sustainable blue our results provide policymakers insight into how support using effective environmentally friendly technology.

Abstract If unauthorized resource use is prevented, managing marine resources by allocating property rights may match economic and environmental conservation incentives. However, because of the developing exploitation accompanying pollution, species' living conditions in Europe's waters are changing more quickly than before. By considering roles fisheries productivity, intellectual rights, capital market size, governance, growth from 1990 to 2022, this paper aims investigate dynamic effect factors on sustainability industry 27 European countries. At higher quantiles, findings showed a significant positive association between governance adopting new method, MMQR with fixed effects, Method Moments Quantile Regression. In addition, EU27 nations, impact was favorable statistically first ninth quantiles. The show that EU14 developed nations have excellent EU13 countries, significantly benefiting sustainability. same way size condense it has been discovered do across all supporting hypothesis for fisheries‐producing specifically beneficial solid development These results provide policymakers helpful information promoting aspects via effective green technologies sector meet sustainable objectives.

Abstract According to the research on fisheries, there are two main trade‐offs between these sustainability pillars. First, a fisheries industry's developing ecological health diminishes economic gains for fishermen. Second, individual fishermen's financial success undercuts communities' social goals. This paper aims investigate dynamic impact of global competitiveness industry in 27 European countries by considering production enabling environments, ecosystems innovation, market size, human capital, and growth 1990 2022. At higher quantiles, findings showed strong positive association environment adopting MMQR with fixed effects, new method moments quantile regression. Additionally, EU27 nations, capital was substantial from first ninth quantiles. Notably, show that EU14 developed nations have greater level development than EU13 underdeveloped countries, which considerably benefits sustainability. Market size were also found condense supporting hypothesis fisheries‐producing countries. Innovation ecosystem increase across all significant beneficial innovation ecosystem, is more emerging EU14. With effective environmentally friendly technology, policymakers may boost advance sustainable objectives.

As global advancements accelerate, modernisation and technological developments are transforming the ocean sector, bringing new opportunities while also posing significant challenges. Nevertheless, these have exposed gaps in existing legal framework of governance—the law sea—which has yet to fully address many emerging complexities frontiers. Addressing requires rigorous gap analyses collaborative discourse. To this end, 11th Ocean Law Governance International Symposium, themed “New Frontiers Sea”, was held Dalian, China, on 27–28 September 2024, a hybrid format—online offline. The event co-hosted by School National Institute at Dalian Maritime University, with support from Zhejiang University Chinese Society Sea. symposium brought together 22 experts scholars around world discuss critical topics, including high seas seabed governance, climate litigation, digitalisation, enforcement, pressing issues, such as BBNJ MPP. provided essential interdisciplinary insights, laying robust foundation for fostering discourse academic arena, which, turn, advances future research informing development marine policies aimed achieving sustainable governance. This study critically evaluates whether successfully bridged landscape explores it offers way forward addressing challenges associated frontiers sea. Through empirical analysis, aims assess impact promoting further discussions policy innovations necessary meet evolving governance needs.
