Turbulent political and economic changes in 1989 caused the gradual decline of mining industry Slovak Republic. Abandoned territorial localities were created, affected by activity, without any use with devastated objects, or even a certain form environmental burden. These locations used for past, unused currently, varying degrees devastation, are referred to as brownfields. This issue is topical, there constant urbanization new territories. Mining brownfields often represent reserve support tourism development. The present study deals identifying tourist potential Fedö shaft brownfield Červenica—Dubník area (Slovakia), which included list national cultural monuments. points out need reclamation from point view supporting development destination based on accessible brownfield—the Jozef tunnel—making it possible interaction links both investigated tourism. Based results conducted SWOT analysis, presents quantification analyzed brownfield. It also includes selected environmental, social, aspects reclamation, definition an effective strategy usage examined tool article concludes model management field Slovakia, constructed open modifiable its specification diverse conditions destinations integrated brownfields, include old mine works.
