The debate on renewable energy consumption and green growth is yet to be empirically settled. Motivated by the dearth of literature in sub-Saharan Africa this subject, study examines impact using a panel 22 countries observed between 1990 2019. It criticizes existing for inadequately addressing cross-sectional dependence inappropriately assuming homogeneity way affects across countries. A comparison commonly applied estimator which ignores above two violations, preferred suggests that current state knowledge could fundamentally flawed. While replicates largely reported positive direct growth, finds insignificant. instead primarily driven gross capital formation, rather than consumption. This additionally effect several types environmental damage. Renewable found significantly reduce CO2 emissions only. conclusion therefore does not have although it helps emissions.

High-quality development (HQD) and ecosystem service value (ESV) are among the most prominent topics in China today. Understanding dynamic coupling coordination relationship between HQD ESV is significant for achieving global urban sustainability goals. This study breaks traditional paradigm of economic ecological research. By measuring 292 Chinese cities from 2000 to 2021, we construct a degree (CCD) model profoundly investigate changes, coordination, underlying reasons theoretical spatiotemporal perspectives. The results indicate that: (1) has undergone phased changes shown improvement, with evident agglomeration characteristics centered around clusters. (2) distribution characteristic cities: low eastern coastal areas high inland areas, which negatively correlated GDP. (3) CCD exhibits clear trend. Spatially, relatively lower higher northeastern southwestern cities. (4) combining spatial autocorrelation results, classified into four categories: Green innovation, resource optimization, potential, protection.

In today’s interconnected economy, participation in global value chains (GVCs) has become essential for firms seeking international competitiveness and economic sustainability. This is particularly relevant emerging economies like Saudi Arabia that are pursuing diversification strategies. However, the relationship between external market conditions trade integration remains unclear, especially regarding how technological advancement influences this relationship. study investigates progress mediates effect of drivers—including stability, regulatory compliance, resources, cultural adaptation, environmental policies—on GVC Arabia. Using a quantitative approach, we collected survey data from 178 key decision makers leaders across multiple sectors involved strategic innovation integration. Analysis using partial least squares structural equation modeling revealed drivers significantly influence (β = 0.739, p < 0.01), with playing substantial mediating role 0.460, 0.01). Environmental policies resources demonstrated direct effects on participation, while compliance was fully mediated by advancement. These findings contribute to understanding digital transformation enables economies. The results provide practical insights policymakers business leaders, highlighting importance investing infrastructure technology-enabled facilitation enhance an increasingly environment.
