This paper presents a comprehensive review of the thermal management strategies employed in cylindrical lithium-ion battery packs, with focus on enhancing performance, safety, and lifespan. Abstract This study proposes a stepped-channel liquid-cooled battery thermal management system based on lightweight. The impact of channel width, cell-to-cell lateral spacing, contact height, and angle the effectiveness control (TCS) is investigated using numerical simulation. weight sensitivity factor adopted to evaluate effect TCS (mTCS) maximum temperature (Tmax) pack. Results suggest that width plays most critical role, followed by spacing angle, while height has minimal influence. Based analysis stated in this work, an improved design reduces 54.08% increasing Tmax only 2.52 K.
