Functionally graded (FG) materials have shown excellent thermoelastic and creep performance, being considered as for cylindrical shells subjected to thermo-mechanical loads. This review provides a detailed account of properties FG shells. A governing equations on well response is provided. In depth analysis the works carried out performance under different thermal mechanical loads (such internal/external pressure, axial loading, etc.) then conducted. Results obtained so far indicate superior Although many studies been shells, their loading yet be extended subject interest future researches.

Abstract Electric mobility decarbonizes the transportation sector and effectively addresses sustainable development goals. A good battery thermal management system (BTMS) is essential for safe working of electric vehicles with lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs) to address runaway associated catastrophic hazards effectively. However, PCMs suffer from low conductivity issues, hence, enhancement techniques include use fins, nano‐additives, extended graphite powder, so forth. The composite phase change materials LIB widely used in while mitigating runaway, besides providing flame retardancy, thermal/mechanical stability, electrical insulation, preventing leakage.
