Aiming
to
promote
the
application
of
D-mannitol
in
field
phase
change
thermal
storage,
obstacles,
including
low
storage
efficiency
and
high
supercooling,
should
be
properly
disposed
of.
The
adoption
adaptable
low-cost
supporting
materials
make
shape-stable
(ss-PCMs)
affordable
is
a
primary
solution
solve
above
shortcomings.
In
this
study,
high-performance
ss-PCM
for
effective
medium-temperature
heat
was
prepared
using
expanded
vermiculite
as
support
preservation.
Among
three
candidates
that
treated
raw
by
dilute
acid,
calcination,
microwave
heating,
calcinated
(CV)
characterized
most
suitable
one.
After
impregnating
into
CV
carrier
vacuum,
melting
enthalpy
205.1
J/g
crystallization
174.1
were
achieved
as-received
CV/D-mannitol
ss-PCM.
Additionally,
supercooling
reduced
45.6
°C.
novel
also
exhibited
excellent
reusability
stability.
All
findings
indicate
abundant
inexpensive
great
potential
material
D-mannitol-based
ss-PCMs,
which
allow
waste
recovery
temperature
regulation.
