Green energy conversion and storage materials have become a focal point of research in recent times, especially energy-consuming buildings. Phase change (PCMs) gained more attention not only for but also composites solar conversion. This investigates sustainable method converting orange biomass waste (OBW) into advanced porous carbon aerogel (PCA) composites, designed solar-thermal harvesting building applications. Using potato starch as binder, the develops process producing uniform lightweight matrix that could be scalable. The best results were found PCA obtained with 2.5% starch, where lowest mass loss (8.2, 0.5, 11.2% pt) was observed during leakage test. study highlights suitability OBW-derived aerogels effective matrices PCM impregnation shape stabilization, indicating their future potential potentially lowering consumption By repurposing agricultural waste, this work contributes to material development advances application renewable technologies.
