This paper introduces a novel hybrid approach for bidirectional smart charging of electric vehicles (EVs) powered by brushless DC (BLDC) motors. The proposed technique, named Atomic Orbital Search-Rat Swarm Optimizer (AOS-RSO), leverages the Search (AOS) optimizing energy storage management and Rat (RSO) enhancing motor control. modular system (HESS) is designed with five modules, each consisting DC-DC converter connecting battery super capacitor module. A multi-level cascaded (MCC) connects HESS to BLDC inverter EV drive, controlling bus voltage. AOS-RSO efficiently manages state-of-charge (SOC) across achieving balanced SOC 98%. Implemented in MATLAB, method evaluated both open closed-loop systems compared existing techniques. Results show achieves 96% efficiency simulation 94% experiments, CPU time 2.84 s. significantly advances solutions EVs, offering improved operational efficiency.
