Abstract The flexible traction power supply system (FTPSS), integrating flow controller (PFC), energy storage system, and photovoltaic (PV) is able to cancel the neutral section, realize collaborative operation of multiple substations (MTSs), enhance efficient utilization regenerative braking (RBE) renewable in electrified railways. However, co‐dispatching among MTSs influences distribution within network, impacting network voltage (TNV). Maintaining optimal dispatch while ensuring compliance with TNV standards critical. Therefore, a two‐stage control strategy proposed for FTPSS here. first stage develops synergistic model considering constraint constraints, aimed at maximizing RBE PV minimizing electricity cost FTPSS. In second stage, converters designed ensure dynamic response Finally, effectiveness substantiated through field load data experimental validation, reduced by about 21.4%, meanwhile maintained range 22.5–29 kV.
