Phase-change material (PCM) can enhance the efficiency of photovoltaic (PV) modules by reducing their temperature and is widely studied for thermal management. However, performance varies due to differences in local solar radiation climate conditions. Previous studies have mainly focused on properties PCM, but practical evaluation should consider specific To investigate thermal-management PCMs different zones obtain optimal design parameters, this study investigated temperature-control effect PV systems across regions through experiments. The results revealed that PCM was limited cold regions. Furthermore, developed a PCM-PV model employed response surface methodology along with an NSGA-II analyze effectiveness system nine China. Pareto solutions were obtained China, balancing annual power generation costs. colder like Naqu, where it increases only 0.5%, while other regions, improves 1.4% 3%, especially areas high temperatures abundant resources. when considering life-cycle gains initial investment, technology may not always be economically efficient, highlighting need region-specific evaluations.
