Phase change material (PCM) concrete walls represent a new type of energy storage wall. It is great significance to study the fire resistance PCM ensure safety these kinds components in service. For this reason, tests on eight partition wall specimens under conditions ISO-834 standard curve were carried out. The tested structures included solid and double-layer with an air gap. used was paraffin phase microcapsules, which replaced fine aggregate according principle equal volumes, at replacement proportions 0%, 7%, 10%, 14%. test results showed that explosive spalling occurred when specimen 10% proportion heated for 31 min, other seven met integrity requirements after heating 90 min. 100 mm thick ordinary did not meet thermal insulation addition use structure gap can both improve wall’s performance; however, it case that, greater amount used, better performance reasons spalled are discussed. This provides critical insights into optimizing content design fire-safe energy-efficient buildings, offering practical guidance sustainable construction practices.
