Large-scale global optimization (LSGO) problems have widely appeared in various real-world applications. However, their inherent complexity, coupled with the curse of dimensionality, makes them challenging to solve. Continuous efforts been devoted designing computational intelligence-based approaches solve them. This paper offers a comprehensive review latest developments field, focusing on advances both single-objective and multi-objective large-scale evolutionary algorithms over past five years. We systematically categorize these algorithms, discuss distinct features, highlight benchmark test suites essential for performance evaluation. After that, comparative studies are conducted using numerical solutions evaluate state-of-the-art LSGO problems. Finally, we applications LSGO, some challenges, possible future research directions.

Sustainable urban development relies on forward-looking infrastructure development. As an emerging system that incorporates green technologies, the Metro-based Underground Logistics System (M-ULS) enables sustainable transportation of passengers and freight within cities collaboratively by sharing rail transit network facilities. M-ULS can effectively save non-renewable energy reduce pollution to ecological environment, comprehensive benefits make outstanding contribution The purpose this study is provide a systematic review based different perspectives present integration concept. By employing bibliometric analysis, four dimensions related literature are statistically analyzed discover knowledge structure research trends. Through thematic discussions, path for developing concept was established. main findings summarized as follows: (i) A comparative analysis shows metro has high potential use; (ii) Improvements in technologies conducive economy, social sustainability; (iii) Network expansion inevitable trend implementing underground logistics metro; (iv) interaction among public sectors, operators, corporations, users plays critical role promoting M-ULS. (v) It worth mentioning planning should fully consider its city. This visualizes current status hotspots research. also discloses frontier novel insights integrated operations management transportation.

Purpose The underground logistics system (ULS) is noted to be an innovative delivery alternative that confers benefits such as improved efficiency, reduced traffic congestion and better environmental protection for society. Consumer acceptance crucial the widespread application of ULS. Hence, this study aims explore drivers affecting consumers’ willingness adopt ULS anchored on uses gratification theory. Design/methodology/approach An online survey was implemented among 551 Singapore citizens structural equation modeling adopted examine theoretical model. Findings findings suggest most variables (i.e. hedonic gratification, (EPG) social gratification), mediated by perceived well-being conscious attention, have significant effects consumer adoption Moreover, shown in results total effects, perception exerts largest impact ULS, followed EPG, convenience gratification. Originality/value This contributes enriching current research accept providing several practical implications logistic service providers government promote
