Abstract This study aims to determine the optimal location for a biodiesel power plant in municipality of Jazan based on selection criteria by estimating energy consumption and using spatial analysis within framework GIS Structured Query Language (SQL). Additionally, will calculate how much electricity each town needs. After Vision 2030, user can combine information from remote sensing (RS) mapping with demand estimation an appropriate evaluate plant's efficiency. A range sources, including city base map, satellite images, aerial photographs, landuse demographic data, were used collect descriptive geographic data as part paper's methodology. was first entered into digital model ArcGIS 10.4 program, it subsequently categorized according model's accuracy. underwent number procedures, scanning printed maps, georeferencing, on-screen digitizing, complete logical design model. spatially assessed compliance requirements selecting plant. The arranged (SQL) analysis, which determined best station greatest ability population increase. Mathematical equations estimate size, growth rate, electrical demands (Brauer Castillo-Chavez models biology epidemiology: Texts Applied Mathematics, Springer-Verlag, New York USA., 2012). With total production capacity 250,167,600 Kilowatt-hour (KWh), investigation efforts concluded that site would be Dammed municipality. is interesting since use ideal produce Municipalities, KSA.

This research provides a comparative analysis of different methods weighting criteria used in the investigation site suitability existing onshore wind farm projects. The ranking this was performed by integrating various multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) techniques. assessments such projects considered several criteria, including velocity, distance from high-electricity grids, slope, road networks, installed capacity, protected areas, years operation, and settlements. Both subjective objective were to compute weights compare results, which is main contribution paper. especially significant, as siting literature mainly focused on methods, therefore are provided judgments. In study, 374 Greece served alternatives, Technique for Order Preference Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method employed rank their suitability. results show very high positive correlations rankings both evaluation alternatives when used. Using may provide robust solution expert judgement missing, CRITIC seems present correlation with MCDM regarding alternatives. Various could be assess challenges related renewable energy projects, they can aid selection most sustainable sites while minimizing downsides maximizing benefits each method.

Wind energy is a promising alternative source to cover large amounts of electricity demand in African countries. Djibouti’s proximity the Red Sea and its arid semi-arid climate generate consistent robust winds, contributing potential for wind energy. Notwithstanding considerable potential, Djibouti has not been adequately examined earlier studies determine suitable sites farms. The objective this study develop model by integrating CRiteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation Combined Compromise Solution methods into Geographic Information System-based decision-support system establish comprehensive framework selection farm Djibouti. Following an in-depth review literature, seven main criteria were identified assess suitability construction: velocity, changes direction, ground slope, distance urban areas, road network, transmission networks, land use. method objectively determines relative importance criteria, identifying speed power networks as most important, slope use less important than other criteria. employed prioritize farms, considering specified To enhance reliability results derived from method, validation was conducted utilizing Multi-Attribute Ideal–Real Comparative Analysis method. comparative analysis revealed correlation between two methods, providing convincing evidence accuracy proposed farms This expected assist professionals researchers dealing with site problem on unprecedented scale exact coordinates through that concurrently integrates recent multi-criteria decision-making System tools.

The management of stray animals and the selection shelter sites are significant issues in urban areas. To address this, consideration environmental, social, economic factors is required. Since those can be analyzed holistically with GIS; this study employs GIS methodologies to ascertain optimal locations for establishing animal shelters Karşıyaka district İzmir. Criteria related such as human health welfare determined based on environmental sustainability. Each criterion converted into a suitability map using ArcGIS Pro. Fuzzy SWARA GRA methods used criteria weighting area ranking. As result, "Yamanlar" option was most suitable area. Thus, GIS-based integrated fuzzy-based have shown objective, reliable less uncertain results selection. Findings provide guidance local governments policy makers determining prioritizing considered methodological approach proposed applied different regions similar problems, it contribute development efficient humane policies improve welfare.

The escalating energy demand in Djibouti requires the investigation of renewable sources, with wind emerging as a promising solution. To ensure long-term efficiency and sustainability projects, it is imperative to determine suitable sites for farm construction. When selecting site farm, there are multiple criteria consider, such velocity, ground slope, distance urban areas. Nevertheless, current body literature reveals that no previous research has been conducted explore an approach which involves farms Djibouti, opposed solely considering potential. This study proposes spatial decision-support system address gap selection sites. Seven simultaneously evaluated this system, including changes direction, areas, road network, transmission networks, land use. CRITIC (Criteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation) method used objectively calculate weights criteria. According results performing method, velocity networks were determined be most important criteria, while slope use least comparison others. A final suitability map showing possible locations was generated by said their respective weights. development located northeastern area between Obock Khor-Angor, southeastern encompassing Lakes Ghoubet Bara, southwestern stretching from Lake Abbe Hanlé region. Using proposed decision makers would empowered make strategic well-informed decisions when Djibouti.
