Biochar (BC) is a promising adsorbing material used to eliminate different contaminants from water, including dyes. However, the applicability and cost-effectiveness of this adsorbent also depend on its regeneration capacity. Several approaches BC are known, each yielding variable efficiencies, risks generating secondary pollution, difficulties application, contrasting cost/benefit ratios. Chemical one techniques best results in contaminant desorption surface. The present study evaluated Pinus patula pellet-derived employed Crystal Violet (CV) adsorption water using several acids, bases, solvents. tested agents included solutions hydrochloric acid (HCl) 0.1 M, acetic (CH3COOH) 1 75 % ethanol (C2H6O), two 95:5 mixtures (75 96 %) concentrated acid. mixture ethanol-concentrated was best-performing solvent with efficiency 21.1 %. Therefore, it chosen as agent for six consecutive adsorption-desorption cycles. After these cycles, removal decreased up 54.4 This work revealed that has good capacity, which could reduce costs implementing decontamination process having positive impact sustainable development by aligning circular bioeconomy principles.
