The utilization of conductive hybrid carbonaceous fillers to fabricate highly efficient electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding materials has become a popular area research interest recently. Here, we report the facile fabrication lightweight thermoplastic elastomeric blend composite films by solution mixing technique, taking advantage both carbonic nanofillers (high aspect ratio carbon inclusion and black) co-continuous polystyrene (PS)/ethylene-co-methyl acrylate (EMA) blend. Combination acid-functionalized multiwalled nanotubes (f-CNT) nanofibers (f-CNF) with Vulcan-XC 72 black (VCB) aids in more uniform dispersion this system. selective location EMA phase binary polymer mix enhanced electrical properties, thermal conductivity, microwave performance resultant composites constructing dense, co-supportive, double percolated network throughout effect f-CNT or f-CNF concentration on above-mentioned properties been investigated work. as-prepared PS/EMA/VCB/f-CNT PS/EMA/VCB/f-CNF exhibited conductivity 0.81 0.83 W/m.K absorption-dominated -31 -32.5 dB, respectively 15 wt% filler loading containing 50 f-CNF.
