Thermo-induced Shape Memory Polymers (TSMPs) and their corresponding 4D printing technology are at the forefront of current research. In this work, we review progress from TSMPs to applications. Firstly, taking thermally activated as an example, shape memory behavior is explained, various experiments mechanisms, well constitutive models, discussed. This comprehensive information designed provide a solid understanding TSMPs. Moreover, history technologies used in introduced, potential methods summarized. These insights can guide researchers selecting appropriate techniques for practical The applications printed then outlined, with focus on metamaterials industry cases that clear what achieve. knowledge will open new doors innovative Finally, research status summarized, existing gaps future development directions pointed out. Through review, aim offer journey so support further promotion field smart materials.

Abstract The global water scarcity crisis has been exacerbated by the increasing demand for clean and pollution caused persistent release of pharmaceuticals such as ciprofloxasin, into systems. biodegradation adsorption potential CIP is crucial its elimination in wastewater treatment However conventional methods plant (WWTP) often struggle to efficiently eliminate from due chemically stability nonbiodegradability. Many researchers observed that was not biodegraded even after 48 days municipal WWTP, therefor no removal occurred. objective this study investigate using a designed electrospun nanofiber. Within scope purpose, we prepared acrylic acid (AAc)-based hydrogels modified with n-hexadecyl acrylate (C16A) first time evaluated their efficacy removing water. Our results show desired fiber size surface smoothness can be obtained hydrogel containing 35 mol% C16A. As result, AAc-based nanofiber C16A exhibited superior properties. efficiency aqueous medium high 98% under equilibrium conditions. process found follow pseudo-second-order model, which suggests chemisorption dominant mechanism. Isothermal analysis showed fit well Langmuir suggesting single layer on uniform surface. These highlight sustainable wastewater, addressing critical need environmental contaminant management.
