Goat farming in Peru is a husbandry activity that, although it considered secondary the country, has great economic and social impact on rural population, that why government efforts to develop so important. The objective of this study was characterize dairy goat rearing systems coastal valleys Lima region identify gaps opportunities for improvement. This cross-sectional research conducted four provinces located region, Peru. A total 62 farmers participated trial. For data collection, standard survey prepared with open closed questions distributed across two components (socioeconomic productive). surveys were processed qualitative variables using multiple correspondence analysis (MCA) followed by hierarchical cluster (HCA) differentiate types prevalent based population. resulted formation three separate groups farmers, which can be classified as extensive differentiated management practices their production marketing objectives. test showed significant difference; therefore, affirmed they are associated or clusters formed. These results will allow actors related farming, such state regional entities, focus addressing specific demands different found study.
