Polysaccharides from Glycyrrhiza are known to have several bioactive effects. Previous studies found that low-molecular-weight polysaccharide (GP1) is degraded by Muribaculum_sp_H5 and promotes the production of beneficial bacteria metabolites, which improves immune disorder intestinal injury, then enhances body's regulation ability. However, effect GP1 on a healthy body has not been studied. In this study, we aimed reveal enhancement mechanism mice. The cytotoxicity immunomodulatory activity were analyzed cell experiment; effects antioxidation, gut microbiota structure studied in vivo. addition, enhancing response was multi-omics. results show enhanced function mice increasing index organs, improving organizational secretion cytokines immunoglobulin. also increased contents antioxidant factors such as total capacity (T-AOC), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) superoxide dismutase (SOD) various organs reduced content oxide malondialdehyde (MDA), thus capacity, promoting proliferation prolonging life. Moreover, promoted bacteria, including Muribaculaceae_unclassified, Muribaculum, Prevotellaceae_UCG-001, Paramuribaculum, characteristic metabolites (collectively referred postbiotics), α-tocopherol, arachidonic acid, melibiose, taurine, nicotinic acid. These postbiotics proven health maintaining functions. postbiotics, should be its effect. It expected promising dietary supplement.

Abstract Radiation exposure can lead to reproductive damage (RD), for which there is currently no effective treatment. Natural compounds, particularly fungal polysaccharides, have shown promising therapeutic potential RD. Due limited availability of research has turned alternative sources from edible mushrooms. This study evaluated polysaccharides Pleurotus eryngii , Agaricus bisporus Coprinus comatus and citrinopileatus their effects on male mice subjected X‐ray radiation. Histological analysis demonstrated significant testicular tissue following exposure, alongside altered antioxidant markers, such as malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH‐Px). Blood tests revealed mild leukopenia, erythropenia, thrombocytopenia. Notably, the positive control groups treated with A. (ABPs) showed increased SOD GSH‐Px levels by 46.5% 7.3%, 15.9% 10.1%, respectively, compared untreated group. MDA were reduced 62.4% ABP 32.1% polysaccharides. ABPs most effective, significantly enhancing WBC, RBC, hemoglobin, platelets 58.3%, 8.9%, 30.6%, 24.6%, respectively. These findings highlight fungi natural agents mitigating radiation‐induced damage. Future compounds may pave way RD treatments.

In the food market, significant changes have been observed in recent years, and what is more, they are associated with an increased “nutritional awareness” among consumers. The role of producers no longer limited to presenting consumers a rich range products; their composition also not without significance. There increase interest so-called “functional food”, which, addition traditional nutrients, provides ingredients specific properties that beneficial effect on human health. One types such “probiotic food”. Probiotics play key design functional foods plant origin, as can contribute improving health digestive system, strengthen immunity, prophylactically act case many civilization diseases. context plant-based foods, particular attention paid development products support balance intestinal microbiota while providing benefits typical fiber, vitamins, antioxidants. It should be mentioned segment question shows only high trend terms diversity offered but fits into environmentally friendly production line sustainable trends. This article aimed present possibility using probiotics prebiotics innovative products. impact fermentation process value plant-derived matrix will discussed, well technological challenges this issue. analyzes potential resulting from consumption fermented hygiene aspects examples probiotic recognized promising option deliver probiotics, paraprobiotics, prebiotics,

Abstract Tropical fruits are popular worldwide due to their appealing flavors and diverse health benefits. However, a significant amount of waste is caused by inferior that partly eliminated from the fresh fruit market by‐products produced during transportation, storage, processing. With increasing focus on environmental sustainability resource conservation, recycling resources tropical has emerged as hot topic interest. Fruit‐derived starch an emerging approach adding value for some fruits. This review article briefly overviews extraction methods, chemical composition, structural characteristics, physical properties, physiological benefits, modification techniques, potential applications new fruit‐derived starch. Compared with traditional starch, exhibits unique processing attributes, making it suitable supplement or replacement industrial in food industry. Moreover, retains rich nutrients functional components present extent, thereby offering benefits greater consumer acceptance. Although current research derived primarily at laboratory stage, there limited exploration its application, evolving lifestyle trends heightened awareness expected foster further development utilization, paving way large‐scale commercialization driving future growth.

This study aimed to investigate the immune regulation effect of edible bird's nest (EBN) in vivo and elucidate influence EBN on microbiome, which is basis activity EBN. The immunosuppression mice model was established by subcutaneous injection hydrocortisone (HC). optimal modeling dose HC screened various indexes. Studies have found that can be constructed with a 12.5 mg/kg. effects low (0.285 g/kg) high doses (0.649 were investigated model. low-dose treatment significantly improved macrophage phagocytosis NK cell mice. high-dose increased serum TNF-α content ability macrophages, hemolysin It changes intestinal flora are usually accompanied cells inflammatory factors, so it hypothesized there correlation between regulation, therefore then after administration. experiments showed species richness decreased mice, increased. Additionally, continuous administration EBN, abundance Bacteroides, Akkermansiaceae other probiotics increased, while Firmicutes decreased, indicating regulate dysfunction, up-regulate beneficial bacteria. reported increase Bacteroides decrease caused an levels immunity, consistent our experimental results. Therefore, plays role mainly affecting flora. provides theoretical for functional investigation
