Food packaging has shown a considerable deal of interest in the use nanotechnology. The current landscape nanotechnology food involves incorporation nanomaterials, such as nanoparticles and nanocomposites, into materials to achieve specific functionalities. These functionalities include improved barrier properties, antimicrobial activity, sensing capabilities. Nanoparticles, silver titanium dioxide, have been utilized impart thereby reducing risk contamination extending shelf life perishable foods. So, enhanced presentation, innovative packaging, smart packaging—all which support preservation quality traceability throughout supply chain—are developed using nanoparticles. Therefore, this article primarily emphasized on synthesis various techniques including, electrospinning, mechanical milling, etching laser ablation etc., characterization based organic inorganic sources. Additionally, nanoemulsion their application covered study. Apart from this, toxicological effect investigated with associated product. when developing materials, it's critical investigate migration interactions polymer matrix since high surface area volume ratio might sometimes be cause nanoparticle toxicity.
