The present research is a comprehensive study that developed poly(lactic acid) PLA/natural wax (Wx)/non-functionalized titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2-NF) and PLA/Wx/titanium functionalized with triethoxysilane (TiO2-F) composites by melt blending. This systematically investigated their hydrolytic degradation, antibacterial properties, oxygen permeability, optical transparency. TiO2-NF or TiO2-F (0.1, 0.5, 1 wt%) were added to PLA/Wx (85:15) blend using Brabender internal mixer at 180 °C. Hydrolytic degradation was carried out in distilled water 50 °C an initial pH of 6.2 for 9 months. Changes weight, morphology, the rheological behavior blends evaluated different times during PLA/Wx/TiO2-NF PLA/Wx/TiO2-F composites. properties PLA/Wx, PLA/Wx/TiO2-0.1-NF, PLA/Wx/TiO2-0.1-F assessed testing them against both E. coli (Gram-negative) S. aureus (Gram-positive) bacteria. Their permeability transparency are comparable those LDPE films. These composites, produced blending, show potential application as disposable plastics, which could significantly impact fields materials science polymer engineering.

The main chemical components of tea tree essential oil (TTO) are monoterpene compounds, including terpine-4-ol,1,8-cineole, para-cymene and γ-terpene. Among them, terpine-4-ol 1,8-cineole the antibacterial components. microcapsules were prepared by orthogonal experiments with core-wall ratio, emulsifier concentration, mass ratio Tween-80 to SDBS oil-water as variables. Through analysis yield coverage rate nine kinds microcapsules, concentration was determined most influential factor for TTO-chitosan six a single-factor experiment. With increase in Escherichia coli increased first then decreased, Staphylococcus aureus first, decreased increased, effect better than that coli. When 4% (13# microcapsule), overall performance coating better, microcapsule dispersion uniform, showing round spheroid shape, particle size mostly distributed between 4 8 μm. against 72.95%, 75.81%. color difference 2.77, glossiness at 60° incidence angle 22.8 GU, visible light transmittance 87.80%. roughness 0.304 μm, elongation 17.47%. research results provide technical reference application an water-based on wood surface.

This article demonstrates that the quality of laundry soap obtained by hot/cold saponification two vegetable oils (olive and coconut) an essential oil (such as Neem, Tea Tree or Thyme) influences effects after washing textiles: cleansing capacity antibacterial effect. The results FTIR, SEM, EDX, thermogravimetry colorimetry analyses are presented comparatively for hot- cold-prepared soaps. Saponification, Iodine number Number Saponification values determined each but also mixture used in soap-making. Soap refers to texture, hardness, foaming capacity, stability, durability, antimicrobial capacity. removal power greasy dirt (heavy engine oil) these soaps is higher than some commercial soaps, obtaining visibility <2.6% at 100 °C, soiling addition density SAD < 0.0229 between 80.88 92.16%. UV-VIS analysis confirms presence (even 10 months from manufacture) textiles washed with them. imparts strong properties (since they do not allow attachment multiplication microorganisms environment), which makes them particularly useful disinfecting textile products hospitals.

Essential oils, often referred to as "liquid gold," are renowned for their broad biological activity. Ancient Egyptians used essential oils' antibacterial and antiseptic effects preserve mummies, ancient Greeks olive oil sun protection, Chinese oils treat wounds. When applied the facial skin, potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, pharmacological characteristics provide various benefits, including sunscreen, skin-whitening, anti-aging effects. This paper aims summarize application of plant in skin whitening, antioxidant recent years, deeply analyzes internal relationship between modern drug delivery system, expounds how overcome limitations through specific enhance its activity stability, realize sustained release reduce potential toxicity, also discusses positive on brain function olfactory pathway, emphasizes possible safety risks use oil, puts forward corresponding suggestions use. Using keywords such "essential oils," "antioxidant," "anti-tyrosinase," Antibacterial Effects anti-inflammatory," "anti-anxiety," "drug carrier systems," a comprehensive search was conducted PubMed, CNKI, Baidu, Wanfang databases articles from past 5 years. Further screening performed select studies demonstrating efficacy topical or external application. Various showed strong oxidants, agents, anti-inflammatory skin-whitening agents. Combined with new it not only enhances but reduces inherent defects volatility, irritation, has targeted effect. At same time, integration into care products can make dual functions smell epidermal system nourish repair maximize oil. review delves systems, advocating broader natural resources technology. By strategically utilizing we promote sustainable development global economy. However, extensive clinical trials still required evaluate effectiveness systems.
