“Foam container + ice pack” is a common packaging form for e-commerce logistics of litchis. However, there are numerous factors affecting the temperature variation under this mode, making it difficult to control and litchi quality during process. In order explore impact scheme on environment in litchis “foam process, paper takes number packs, terminal pre-cooling litchis, weight whether use aluminum foil insulating film as variable study rules these EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foam temperature, total fruit pericarp, marketable rate. The experimental results show following trends: has significant daily average layer; 15 °C group first day second 5.00 2.78 higher than that 5 group, respectively. Moreover, treatment, growth rate pericarp fungi relatively fast, which could reach 3.87 Lg (CFU/g) day. Increasing amount maintain lower environment, but will cause relative conductivity increasing 4.12% compared with groups no increasing. packs significantly reduce decline soluble solids two days. research expected provide certain reference assurance formulation long-distance transportation strategies perishable agricultural products.

This study evaluated the effects of selected polysaccharide edible coatings (apple pectin and sodium alginate) on quality characteristics fresh-cut beetroot. The changes in texture (hardness), optical parameters such as colour Hue angle, polyphenols, flavonoids, red yellow colourants during 4 weeks refrigerated storage, well microstructure, were examined. Self-standing have also been prepared characterised by continuous structure without pores, cracks, high lightness. obtained results for hardness showed reduced values storage. Colour (L*, a*, b*) angle remained mostly consistent, indicating preservation desired colour, though slight noted Lightness (parameter L*) increased over time, suggesting beetroot surface. However, these less pronounced samples covered with coatings. use storage time positively impacted flavonoids beetroots, except after 28 days when lowest both observed. It can be that polyphenol content coated decreased at a slower rate. Moreover, there was significant decrease control samples. greater treated Scanning electron microscopy used 0 lower pores tissue result applied coatings, negatively affected minimally processed Nevertheless, beetroots treatment mild technology modifications to characteristics, which find practical reducing waste vegetables
