So, this study was aim to optimization different proportion blended from beetroots, grapes, turmeric, lemons by using response surface methodology (RSM) assessment quality parameters such as acidity, ascorbic acid, antioxidant activity overall acceptability blend were considered. Beetroot widely recognized its pigments known betalains have been utilized in development food beverage products. Beetroots, used prepare drinks, their nutritional value medicinal properties. To optimize juice, dependent variables mainly beetroot grapes turmeric lemon range 50-60, 30-40, 1-5, 1-5 mL, selected respectively. optimized formulation with a maximum desirability 0.921, an acidity 0.60%, acid 14.17 mg/100 93.94%, 8.07 finalized at 53.12 mL 40 1.88 5 juice.

Background/Objectives: Dietary supplements are associated with general well-being. However, there is a growing concern about health risks from unlabeled harmful substances, contaminants, or their interactions conventional drugs. The use of dietary should also be monitored in vulnerable groups. Hence, this study aimed to explore key factors supplement and status among Portuguese adults. Methods: An online-based cross-sectional survey was conducted assess health, medication, use. Data were collected January February 2023. participants (N = 449) categorized into age groups (18-29, 30-39, 40-60, 60+). Descriptive multivariate statistical analysis performed. Results: Overall, 73% the female, 38% 40-60 group. Among male (27%), more than half belonged two older Additionally, 42% reported having diagnosed disease, 43% using 66% rated as "good". Participants aged 60+ multiple diseases higher BMI poorer self-rated health. Cardiovascular drug prevalent males group, positively correlating number medications (r 0.40, p < 0.001). Medication (OR 0.25, 95%CI: 0.10-0.60) 0.34, 0.17-0.69) lower likelihood avoiding Females likely supplements, multivitamin-mineral most common both sexes adults 60+. Conclusions: As increases, developing evidence-based guidelines for safe use, especially populations, crucial.

This study investigates the predictors and mediators of branded functional beverage consumption behaviour (CB) within Gen Z demographic group in Bulgaria. An integrated model based on two widely known psychosocial theories was developed to examine relationships between consumers’ personal values value–belief–norm theory components protection motivation (PMT). The conceptual framework included more influencing factors whose impact had not been researched depth previous studies concerning CB—namely, role media (RM) health benefits (HB). empirical survey 435 members aged 16 26 years conducted. Structural equation modelling used analyse proposed hypotheses. results revealed that were significant PMT threat coping appraisal components, which, turn, a positive CB. CB directly affected by but indirectly influenced HB via purchase intention toward beverages RM. highlighted important RM, which theoretical practical implications discussed, recommendations given for raising Z’s awareness increasing their consumer acceptance.
