Abstract As the standard of living rises, total household consumption increases. However, in addition to satisfying needs, high also has negative consequences, one which is environmental pollution. The main objective this paper investigate how V4 countries affects environment, particularly terms waste production. Household understood through expenditures on food and non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic clothing footwear, furniture equipment. Descriptive statistics regression analysis are employed for analysis, using data from Eurostat covering years 2004-2020. results indicate that all countries, as expenditure beverages increases, production Other monitored have varying impacts across different countries.
