Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT) is found to exert cellular toxicity through induction of oxidative stress although being used as antioxidant in many food products. This study investigates the protective effects two herbal compounds Boeravinone B (BB) and Chebulinic acid (CA) combination (B4C3 i.e. BB 4 µg/mL CA 3 µg/mL). Key findings revealed that BHT exerted ROS (234.47 a.u.) RNS (0.042 µM/mL), but B4C3 has significantly reduced it (115.46 a.u. 0.018 µM/mL respecctively). exposure raised activities enzymes such SOD (70.9%), CAT (7.08 units/mL), GPX (1.21 levels protein carbonyls (3.52 units/mg) lipid peroxides (418.34%). Whereas treatment with decreased (29.92%), (3.12 (0.36 (0.91 units/mg protein) (106.67%) during exposure. It was 20.56% cells were apoptotic while 73.83% autophagic treatment. However, proposed phytotherapy rescued from death supported cell growth which confirmed by RT-PCR analysis. Collectively, offered a significant protection against BHT-induced damage, suggesting its potential therapeutic agents for stress-related hepatotoxicity.

The experiment focused on the study aimed to investigate effects of adding alanyl-glutamine (Ala-Gln) feed growth, serum biochemical parameters, and mRNA expression levels stress-related genes in largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) under dual stress conditions density flow rate. fish were divided into three groups: control group, group with 0.9 % Ala-Gln addition underwent a 60 day aquaculture experiment. data showed that final weight, average weight gain rate, specific growth rate efficiency significantly decreased (P < 0.05). At same time, glucose malondialdehyde (MAD), activities aspartate aminotransferase (AST) alanine transaminase (ALT) increased stress, while total antioxidant capacity lysozyme activity Moreover, hormone (GH), insulin-like factor-Ⅰ(IGF-I), nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-κB), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-8 (IL-8), transcription E2 related 2 (Nrf2), catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD), Caspase 3, 8 B-cell lymphoma-2 (Bcl2) all significantly, HSP 70, 90, interleukin-10 (IL-10), I-kappa-B-alpha (IkBα), kelch-1ike ECH- associated protein 1 (Keap1) bcl2-associated X (Bax) However, performance, indexes most correction trend after addition, but still did not reach level group. These results reduced parameters adverse genes, exogenous Ala-Glu could somewhat ameliorate negative bass.

The neonicotinoid pesticide acetamiprid has been widely used in agricultural pest control and was frequently detected the water environment. There have some studies of toxic effects on fish, but aquatic lower vertebrates are still very limited. As a primitive jawless vertebrate, Lethenteron reissneri special position evolution is now listed as national second level protected animal China. present study aimed to investigate effect liver L. larvae. A conjoint analysis transcriptomics metabolomics performed determine responses larvae at different concentrations (L for low concentration 25 mg/L H high 100 mg/L). Even can cause significant damage short period. In omics analyses, 2141 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) 183 abundant metabolites (DAMs) were identified H/Control group, 229 DEGs 144 DAMs L/C group. Correlation analyses revealed affected metabolic pathways such glycerophospholipid metabolism arachidonic acid metabolism. This not only enriches basis understanding exposure provides more information breeding conservation reissneri, also further causes attention toxicity risk from vertebrate species.
