Diploid rainbow trout gonadal development occurs at the expense of stored energy and nutrients, lipid mobilization supplies required for this process. However, triploid gonads are not developed, fatty acid metabolism might be different. which metabolic pathways key metabolites regulate have been clarified. To identify difference between diploid trout, we use LC-MS technology based metabolomics to detect in positive negative ion mode. As far as it was evaluated, there 174 with statistically significant differences, including 13 lipids lipid-like molecules. Among different metabolites, linoleic (LA), oleic (OA) arachidonic (ARA) were related biosynthesis unsaturated acids, LA OA metabolism. The two Polyunsaturated (PUFA) associated differences PUFA contents serum. Gene expression results validated that pointed desaturation process maybe more crucial differential trout. study provide a theoretical explanation biomarkers differentiate mechanisms

Use of high-concentrate carbohydrate in fish diets will bring negative influence on the growth and glycometabolism. The current research, with common carp, was designed to investigate efficiency alternate feeding between high- low- based weakening these effects. Two control groups were, respectively, fed low (LC group, 100 g/kg cassava starch) high (HC 400 for 56 d, meanwhile other were subjected every 1 7 14 d 28 alternation HC LC diets, respectively (referred as R1, R7, R14 R28). All experimental triplicate 30 carp (initial weight 1.17 ± 0.03 g). four achieved optimal feed compared group. group possessed significantly higher rate, protein ratio, specific intestinal index condition factor, lower conversion ratio Fish that had content whole body, expressions hormone insulin-like factor hepatopancreas elevated activities trypsin, amylase alkaline phosphatase. Fish protein hydrolysates (FPH) were applied in a 8-week feeding experiment with juvenile common carp (Cyprinus carpio) (initial body weight 8.75±0.05 g), to preliminarily investigate their effects on growth performance and feed utilization potential influence intestinal antioxidant status, expressions of synthesis gene microflora. Common fed 0%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2% FPH (named as FPH-0, FPH-0.5, FPH-1, FPH-1.5, FPH-2) respectively, substituting 13.33%, 28.33%, 41.66%, 55.00% dietary fish meal. Each diet was randomly triplicate groups 25 per aquarium. Feeding experimental results revealed that final weight, gain rate efficiency ratio the FPH-0.5 treatment significant higher than those other treatments. The had highest crude level when compared FPH-1.5 FPH-2 treatments (P<0.05). Protease activity markedly Obvious increments activities superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD), catalase (CAT) glutathione (GSH) decline malondialdehyde (MDA) contents intestine found treatment. Significant up-regulation expression levels PI3K, Akt, TOR, S6K 4EBP1 Proteobacteria abundance obviously restrained treatments, Cetobaterium could been elevated treatment, especially FPH-containing feeds. Overall, 0.5% supplementation exhibited sparing effect meal premise promoting strengthening health.

Momordica charantia L. saponins (MCS) may promote wound-healing properties but the underlying mechanisms are unclear. This study aimed to examine effects and of MCS on diabetic wounds. The results have shown that higher intake lowered fasting blood glucose levels, serum lipids, lipopolysaccharides in mice. MCS-treated mice exhibited faster wound healing than control groups. After three days, groups a area reduction only 19.3%, while 39.75% was observed following high-dose treatment. Five potential biomarkers were screened metabolomics study. revealed mainly regulated glycerophospholipid metabolism, fructose mannose steroid hormone biosynthesis, pyrimidine Krebs cycle, thus affecting healing. Overall, could not exert hypoglycemic effect also healing, making it treatment option for diabetes-related
