In the context of green building and sustainable urban development, understanding mechanical behavior structural components like concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) columns is crucial due to their improved load-bearing capacity, energy efficiency, optimized material usage, which enhance resilience sustainability. This research addresses complex development confining stress its impact on concrete core (CC) within these columns, are essential for infrastructure. Through extensive numerical studies, this study proposes a model estimate in axially loaded CFST short columns. Study findings reveal that confinement effectiveness influenced by variables such as compressive strength (CS) concrete, cross-sectional shape, depth-to-wall thickness percentage. Additionally, also significantly affected yield strain εy/εc peak unconfined εc. A three-dimensional finite element (FEM) was built simulation columns’ nonlinear rigorously validated against experimental data. aids design implementation more efficient resilient structures, supporting principles construction. The underscores importance integrity provides valuable insights improving materials.
