Pumice, a material with good application prospects in adsorption and water treatment, has less research on its improvement. In this study, the positive benefits of anaerobic reaction were explored by loading iron oxide pumice combined ozone advanced oxidation. The results showed that Fe2O3 Nanomodified Pumice (FP )could play an active role formation sludge particles. addition FP increased level interspecies electron transfer ( DIET ), improved hydrolysis acid production, methane production activity dominant species. At same time, oxidation improvement decomposition ability avoid accumulation macromolecular volatile fatty acids reduce risk reactor acidification. microbial level, better promoted correlation between three strains Firmicutes, Synergistota, Desulfobacteriota, connection reactions. Under these promoting effects, not only start-up time was accelerated, but also anti-load capacity improved, could maintain removal rate more than 90 % at organic load 53.89 kgCOD / m3 · d ).
