Abstract The Indonesian government has implemented a carbon emission reduction program for Diesel Power Plants as part of its efforts to achieve Net Zero Emission (NZE) by 2060. biomass-fueled power plant approach can reduce the use fossil fuels and minimize emissions. purpose this study was determine economic value dual-fuel diesel with fuel oil syngas produced through gasification, using engine technology. Gasification process. gasification used is multi-stage downdraft gasifier model, an optimal air ratio variation 1:7:2 in pyrolysis, oxidation, zones. An experiment conducted on operating at speed 3000 rpm subjected various loads ranging from 500 Watts 4500 Watts. mass flow rate be adjusted opening four valves, fed intake manifold engine. engine, which combines biodiesel, improve thermal efficiency B35 consumption. This resulted specific consumption (SFC) 0.257 0.213 load watts. Technoeconomic analysis shows that utilization system capacity generate lasting benefits, especially when considering environmental factors accessibility local resources.

The current study aimed to produce hydrochar from sunflower stalks using the catalytic hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) technique and evaluate its effectiveness in pyrolysis process. was pyrolysed a thermogravimetric analyser at three different heating rates (10, 20, 40°C/min) for evaluation of kinetic, thermodynamics reaction mechanisms. Characterization methods such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy X-ray diffraction were applied examine functional groups phases, respectively. isoconversional estimation kinetic parameters, which included Kissinger Akahira Sunose (KAS), Vyazovkin (VZK), Ozawa Flynn Wall (OFW). average activation energy obtained based on VZK method 125.81 kJ/mol, significantly lower than those raw biomass sole pyrolysis. z(α) master plot approach deduce mechanism. use may reduce total environmental effect greenhouse gas footprint solid fuel combustion, easing transition low-carbon power generation.
