Polymer gels have been widely used in reservoir flow control, profile and enhanced oil recovery. However, the density of gel is usually higher than formation water, so will precipitate resulting poor or even ineffective water plugging. Inspired by aerogel materials known for their porous structure extremely low density, PSC, we mean a terpolymer mixing system consisting polyurethane, vaporous hydrophobic silica nanoparticles, cellulose nanofibers. A regulator (PSC-Sponge) was prepared one-step freeze-drying PSC. PSC-Sponge significantly reduces before after gelation, with maximum densities gelation lowered to 0.82 0.85 g/cm3, respectively. novel method based on optical micro-rheology innovatively proposed study time viscoelastic changes without external force addition PSC-Sponge. Experimental results demonstrate that markedly enhances mechanical strength, temperature resistance, performance gel, improving network form dense three-dimensional network. Field test show low-density can effectively reduce content well, well reduced from 100% 21%, cumulative increase 3707 t. Low kind control agent resistant dilution, it provides experimental basis field guidance plugging enhance recovery high cut reservoir.
